**For students on an F-1 Visa: If you have required enrollment during summer term due to: summer being your first term in a new program or in F/J status, summer being your graduating semester, or summer enrollment being required for your degree or assistantship – you must continue to keep your employment under the part-time limit (20 hours per week or less) while summer classes are in-session.
If it is not your first or last semester, summer enrollment is optional. In this case, your employment and semester credit hour load may not exceed 40 hours per week, per UTD’s Quantity of Work Rule.
